H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of Central Banking of the National Bank of Cambodia, attended the 92nd BIS’s Annual Meeting in Basel, Switzerland

H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of Central Banking of the National Bank of Cambodia, attended the 92nd BIS's Annual Meeting from June 25-26, 2022, in Basel, Switzerland, at the invitation of Dr. Agustín Carstens, Managing Director of the BIS. Central bank governors from all over the world, the presidents of significant international organizations, and other dignitaries attend the summit each year to discuss the central bank's new challenges, solutions, and policy recommendations. The annual conference in 2022 was centered on the role of the central bank in reacting to financial concerns associated with climate change and high inflation at a time of global uncertainty.
