Essex County Construction and Road Closures Update – April 26, 2024

The intersection of County Road 9 and County Road 10 remains closed for bridge rehabilitation work. Please follow the posted detour. (Map ID#1)

County Road 50 remains closed between County Road 13 (Erie Road) and Klies Beach Road for culvert replacement. (Map ID#2) Truck traffic should use the posted detour. All businesses remain open during construction and local business traffic can use alternate routes. The posted detour and alternate routes are shown on the map below.

County Road 8 will have lane restrictions at the intersection with County Road 9 beginning April 29 for shoulder work. (Map ID#3)

County Road 15 will have lane restrictions between County Road 18 and County Road 11 beginning April 29 for shoulder work. (Map ID#4)

County Road 37 will have lane restrictions between County Road 8 and County Road 14 beginning April 29 for road construction. (Map ID#5)

County Road 25 will have lane restrictions between Highway 401 and North Rear Road beginning April 19 for road construction. (Map ID #6)

Please be patient when you encounter road line painting operations. Be prepared to drive slowly and do not drive over the wet paint to prevent damage to your vehicle.
