Joma will be the new official sponsor of the Internazionali BNL d´Italia

The Spanish brand is now the technical sponsor of the Italian Tennis Federation and tennis player Marco Cecchinato.

With this new agreement, Joma reinforces its growth in the European sports market.

Sports brand Joma and the Italian Tennis Federation make their Joma agreement official, becoming technical sponsor of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia for the 2022 edition. Through this alliance, Joma will dress the referees, ball boy/girls and staff.

The Internazionali BNL D'Italia is the second of the three ATP Master 1000 tournaments played on clay. Held every year at the Foro Italico in Rome featuring the best players in the world, Rafael Nadal holds the tournament record with 10 championships. The tournament is not only about tennis but also a great entertainment experience around the sport. High-end clothes shopping, gastronomy, luxury shopping and outstanding musical performances, have made it one of the most glamorous events on the ATP Tour.

The agreement will come into effect for the up and coming edition held from May 2 to 15. In addition to its presence with technical material, the brand will have a commercial space and different promotional activities inside the commercial Village.

The agreement with the Internazionali BNL D'Italia is, together with the sponsorship of great players, one of Joma's big bets in tennis. Becoming the first major tournament sponsored by Joma to join Joma's portfolio of sponsorships on the ATP circuit, along with Pablo Carreño, Feliciano López, Pedro Martínez Portero, Albert Ramos, Thiago Monteiro, Marco Cecchinato, Joao Sousa, Hugo Dellien, Juan Ignacio Londero, Marcel Granollers and Iván Dodig, among others; in addition to Tamara Zidansek, Sara Sorribes, Magda Linette, Beatriz Haddad, Aliona Bolsova, Lara Arruabarrena, Eva Guerrero, Jessica Bouzas, Alina Charaeva and Marie Bouzkova on the women's WTA circuit. The brand's investment in sponsorships with the goal of maintaining its position among the world's leading tennis brands has also made it possible to collaborate with groups such as the Italian Tennis Federation.

In recent years, the brand's recognition in this sport has increased thanks to the visibility of sponsorships and its technical products in both footwear and apparel.
