Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Renovated Storytime Room

The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library invites residents to celebrate the reopening of the Library Storytime Room on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to attend the ribbon cutting and stay for special programming in celebration of Día de los niños (Día) /Children's Day.

The Storytime Room renovation project provides expanded programming space that will enhance the experience of families attending storytimes and will allow for the space to be utilized for other programs, including craft programs, workshops and more.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, families are invited to enjoy a special English/Spanish bilingual storytime and craft in celebration of Día de los niños/Children's Day. Día is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. This program is for children of all ages and all language abilities.
