Nairobi, Gianni Rodari’s short stories translated into Swahili

The Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Nairobi, in association with the Malindi Museum Society, co-organized an event based on "Storie di Rodari", a publication edited by the same IIC which promotes the translation in English and Swahili of some of the short stories by the famous Italian writer.

The event will be held at the National Museum in Malindi at the attendance of the translator, Doris Kamunye. At the event, some of the short stories contained in the book will be presented to the public through readings, drawings, and theater and dance performances by students of the My-Me Academy and the The Learning Hub, two primary schools in Malindi.
