Ahead of their 2020 Davis Cup Qualifiers tie against Austria, Uruguay captain Enrique Pérez has named a strong squad, as Uruguay look to secure their spot at the Davis Cup by Rakuten Madrid Finals.
The team will travel to Austria in March where they will take on the hosts at the Steiermarkhalle Schwazlsee and will be buoyed by the presence of talisman Pablo Cuevas, who starred for Uruguay as they recorded a 3-1 victory against Dominican Republic in their Americas Group I clash.
Cuevas, who won both of his singles matches in September, clinched victory in the doubles alongside younger brother Martin, who will also be travelling to Graz in March.
Joining the Cuevas brothers will be Ariel Behar, Francisco Llanes and Franco Roncadelli meaning that the Uruguayans have a good blend of youth and experience within their side.
