Comment instructions for the Little Rock Board of Directors meetings:

To speak on an agenda item, similar to filling out a comment card at in-person meetings, a resident must email [email protected] by 4 p.m. on the day of regular Board meetings (first and third Tuesday each month). Include the number of the agenda item you'd like to address in the subject line and whether you are FOR or AGAINST the item. Item numbers can be obtained from the agenda posted online under Board of Directors Meeting Agendas at littlerock.gov. To speak, the resident must be in attendance at the meeting (using the virtual meeting link) when the agenda item is called during the meeting.

To register for citizen communication, which is a portion of the agenda that allots three minutes for residents to address the Board on any topic not on the agenda, residents will need to email [email protected] by 4 p.m. on the day of regular board meetings (first and third Tuesday of each month) and indicate a desire to participate in citizen communication. Residents must be in attendance at the meeting (using the virtual meeting link) during the citizen communication portion of the agenda to speak.

Additionally, anyone can email [email protected] to share information with the Board of Directors. These messages will not be read during Board meetings, but will be distributed to all members of the Board.

Participating in the Meeting

When you join a meeting, you be asked to input your name. If you have registered to speak on an agenda item or during citizen communication, please join the meeting using the same name so that you can be identified by the meeting administrator. Please also indicate the number of the agenda item(s) you'd like to address or list "CC" for citizen communication.

Example: "John Doe - 14" or "Jane Doe - CC"

If you intend to join the meeting by telephone, please include the phone number you intend to call from in your emailed request to speak. This number will used to identify you when it is your turn to speak. When joining by telephone, you may be asked to input the meeting ID and/or passcode from the meeting announcement. Please refer to the announcement for this information.

Once you join a meeting, you will be in the meeting audience. You will be muted and will not have permission to unmute yourself. Chat will also be disabled. When the agenda reaches the item you wish to address, you will unmuted to address the Board.
