Invitation to Apply for the Bankruptcy Bench Bar Committee for the District of Kansas

Dear Federal Bar Member:

The Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas is accepting applications for two actively practicing members of the bankruptcy bar and one Chapter 7 Trustee to serve on the Bankruptcy Bench Bar Committee for three-year terms beginning July 1, 2024.

Applications are due by May 20, 2024.

The Bankruptcy Bench Bar Committee serves as a liaison between the court and its bar and the public; provides a forum for the continuous study of the operating procedures of the court; studies, considers and recommends the adoption, amendment, or rescission of the Rules of Practice of the court; and studies and renders reports and recommendations as the court directs.
