BBPH Sets Dates to Conduct Drive-Through Influenza Vaccination Clinics at Bismarck Event Center

SEPTEMBER 24 UPDATE: BBPH has received a shipment of high-dose influenza vaccine and will have it available at upcoming drive-through flu clinics, while supplies last. For more information, read our press release.

Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health (BBPH) has scheduled drive-through influenza clinics at the Bismarck Event Center on the following dates:

  • Monday, September 27, 2021
  • Tuesday, October 12, 2021
  • Monday, October 18, 2021

Appointments are required and can be scheduled online or by phone at 701-355-1540. Walk-ins will be accepted at the drive-through event based on availability of vaccine. Scheduling an appointment reserves vaccine for you and is recommended. If you are unable to attend one of these dates, contact our office to schedule an appointment that works for you.

Individuals should bring insurance cards and wear a mask to the appointment. BBPH will collect insurance information prior to vaccination, and will bill insurance for the vaccination. Some vaccine will be available for individuals who are underinsured or uninsured. COVID-19 vaccine will also be available during these drive-through clinic events for those interested in getting vaccinated.

BBPH accepts the following insurances:

  • Medicaid
  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Medica
  • Medicare Part B
  • Railroad Medicare
  • Sanford (Except Sanford True Plan)
  • United Healthcare

High-dose vaccinations will not be available for the September vaccination clinic, but may be available for the October clinics. Individuals requiring high-dose vaccinations are encouraged to contact BBPH at (701) 355-1540 for more information.

On the day of the drive-through vaccination events, individuals are asked to enter Bismarck Event Center parking lot D (the lot south of the Bismarck Event Center, Across Bowen Avenue) from Seventh Street and make their way into the Event Center. Vaccinations will then be conducted inside the Event Center.
