Buck Announces 2022 Congressional Art Competition Winners

WASHINGTON-Today, U.S. Representative Ken Buck (CO-04) announced the winners of the 2022 Congressional Art Competition for Colorado's Fourth District.

"The young artists of eastern Colorado have submitted creative and impressive artwork, that showcased just how talented our high school students are," said Congressman Buck. "Congratulations to Ceason, on her winning entry and I look forward to seeing her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol building."

Each spring, the House of Representatives and the Congressional Institute sponsor a nationwide high school arts competition as an opportunity for high school students to showcase their talents. Students from across eastern Colorado submitted their artwork for the competition, and local artistic professionals judged the pieces. The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in Cannon Hall in the United States Capitol.

The winners of the 2022 Congressional Art Competition are listed below:

1st Place Winner: Ceason Hightower, of Highland High School

2nd Place Winner: Adriana Garcia Hernandez, Highland High School

3rd Place Winner: Madi Walls, Douglas County High school
