At the Vostochny Cosmodrome, specialists from the Center for Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure Facilities and the Progress Rocket and Space Center (both are Roscosmos subsidiaries) completed the mechanical assembly of the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle 'package' (first and second stages) in accordance with the comprehensive preparation schedule. The assembly was put into storage mode until the start of the launch campaign.

The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle is to be used for the sixth commercial launch from the Vostochny Cosmodrome. The European provider of launch services Arianespace together with Starsem under contracts with Glavkosmos (a Roscosmos subsidiary) acts as the launch operator for OneWeb.
