Caring for Flood Victims in NTT, Asian Agri Distributes 2,000 Liters of Cooking Oil through the Ministry of Agriculture

Jakarta, 9 April 2021 - In an effort to ease the burden of the people affected by the flood in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), today, Asian Agri distributed 2,000 liters of cooking oil through the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia.

The donation was given directly by Head of Industry & Government Relations Agri, Manumpak Manurung to the Director of Annual Plants and Refreshments, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Heru Tri Widarto, and it will be distributed to the disaster posts in East Flores Regency, NTT.

'We hope this assistance can help flood-impacted communities and we pray that the condition can gradually recover ,' said Manumpak when handing over the aid at the Ministry of Agriculture's Office.

Together with several companies, Asian Agri supports the provision of the needs of people affected by the flood disaster and distributes assistance through the Ministry of Agriculture.

Heru expressed his gratitude to Asian Agri, 'Hopefully this contribution can help our brothers and sisters in NTT and be a blessing for Asian Agri.'

The company's operations are ISO 14001 certified, while its Learning Institute and nursery research center in Riau province, Indonesia are both ISO 9001 certified. Asian Agri's R&D Center in North Sumatra was also given a certification by the International Plant-Analytical Exchange at the WEPAL lab at Wageningen University in The Netherlands, for its high standards.
