Minister Escrivá meets with the European Commissioner for Employment, Nicolas Schmit

The Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, has held a meeting with the European Commissioner for Labour and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit, at the Ministry's head office. The working day focused on the roll out of the Minimum Basic Income and inclusion pathways, employment flexibility mechanisms, such as ERTEs, as well as the modernisation of the pension system, framed within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP).

The Minister was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions, Israel Arroyo, and the Secretary General for Objectives and Inclusion Policies, Milagros Paniagua. In addition to the Commissioner, the European Commission delegation included the Advisor for Employment and Social Rights, Ana Carla Pereira, and the Advisor to the Commissioner, Anouk Faber.
