City of Pueblo Sales Tax Updates to Business During Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival Set Up

PUEBLO-The City of Pueblo is excited to welcome the 28th Annual Chile & Frijoles Festival to downtown Pueblo which surrounds City Hall and takes place Friday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Sept. 25.

Set up for the festival began Wednesday, Sept. 21 and during this time the parking lot shared with the Riverwalk side of City Hall will have limited access and the parking lot shared with the Senior Resource Development Agency (SRDA) will be closed to the public as well.

"We still are able to serve the public with our online portal called Citizen Access, which allows for payments to be made online," said Tax Audit Manager Valerie Palumbo. "The City of Pueblo wants to ensure the public is still able to do business in an easy manner and we are happy to speak with individuals over the phone with any payment or filing needs too."

As a result of the limited parking access and more difficult access to City Hall, the Sales Tax Division of City of Pueblo Finances would like to remind the public of Citizen Access, the online portal to file returns, pay taxes, pay account balances and renew annual licensing. This portal does require an initial set up of creating an account and then allows individuals to do business with the City of Pueblo online for all their sales tax needs.

The Citizen Access Portal is available on the www.pueblo.us website through the Finance Division under Sales Tax or by simply visiting this link https://salestaxonline.pueblus/citizenaccess. For more information about utilizing the Citizen Access Portal or other Sales Tax related questions please call 719-553-2659.
