Multi-specialty mobile hospital with 100 beds in Chita has been moved to a permanent location

In accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and on behalf of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu multidisciplinary mobile hospital one of the formations of the Eastern military district were promptly transferred from Buryatia, Transbaikal region.

Since June 7, military medics of the Eastern Military District have been helping doctors of the Transbaikal territory in the fight against coronavirus infection. In total, 63 people received medical care and were completely cured of a coronavirus infection during the operation of the field hospital in Chita.

A few days after the last patient was discharged, a solemn closing of the multi-specialty mobile field hospital was held with the involvement of the administration of the Transbaikal territory.

After the ceremonial closing of the multi-specialty mobile hospital, the personnel began to wind down. The hospital was closed in the shortest possible time and moved to a permanent location.

The personnel will have to overcome about 700 kilometers of the way from Chita to the settlement of Kyakhta of the Republic of Buryatia within two days.

'Today we have completed the roll-out of the mobile hospital and are ready to march. We will have a two-day march with a total length of about 700 kilometers back to Kyakhta' - said the head of the multi-specialty mobile hospital, Lieutenant Colonel of the medical service Vitaly Nam.
