Kingspan Group announces five-year global partnership with humanitarian aid agency GOAL

Kingspan Group will support GOAL's transformative work by providing expertise and products, supported by financial contributions, to develop critical infrastructure with sustainability at its core in healthcare and education.

GOAL was founded in 1977 and is based in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Over the last four decades GOAL has responded to many of the world's major humanitarian crises, working with vulnerable communities in 14 countries.

In the first year of a five-year partnership, Kingspan and GOAL will join forces to build a new wing at an important hospital in Puerto Cortes, Honduras. The project will be implemented by GOAL's staff on the ground using Kingspan's sustainable products and systems to build a state-of-the-art, 24-bed ward for general care in the hospital.

The new extension will provide the hospital with increased capacity to provide critical care for patients in a community that has been greatly affected by Covid-19. The new wing will be named in memory of Sayri Molina, a GOAL member who sadly lost her life to the pandemic and will be remembered for her hard work and selfless commitment to GOAL.
