Traffic Advisory Stanislaus County 4/18/24

Lane Closures on State Routes 99, 132, 108 & Interstate 5

Stanislaus County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), State Route 108 (SR-108) and Interstate 5. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

  • Overnight, closure of the #1 (left) lane of northbound SR-99 between Ninth Street and G Street in Modesto for guardrail repair beginning Wednesday, April 24 through Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Closure of the #3 (right) lane of northbound SR-99 between Whitmore Avenue and Ninth Street in Ceres for electrical work on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

State Route 132

  • Alternating lane closures on SR-132 between Reinway Avenue and F Street/Hickman in Waterford for construction work beginning Monday, April 22, through Friday, April 26, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Note: Construction is expected to continue through Fall of 2024.
  • Overnight, lane shift on westbound and eastbound SR-132 between I Street and Santa Fe Avenue in Empire for utility work beginning Sunday, April 21, through Friday, April 26, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 108

  • Closure of the #2 (right) lane of eastbound SR-108 (northbound McHenry Avenue) between Coolidge Avenue and Granger Avenue in Modesto for utility work beginning Wednesday, April 24 through Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Interstate 5

  • Closure of the #2 (right) lane of northbound I-5 from the Vista Point to Sperry Avenue for a crack seal operation beginning Thursday, April 25, through Friday, April 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
