'As we've seen by skyrocketing premiums, insurers fleeing the marketplace, and Ohioans being kicked off their insurance, Obamacare is a law full of bad ideas,' said Latta. 'That being said, the creation of IPAB might take the cake as the worst. With IPAB, Obamacare effectively put important decisions regarding the Medicare program in the hands of 15 unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats. When we are debating important health care policies that would affect millions of our nation's seniors, that discussion should be conducted in Congress, where legislators must answer to their constituents.'
Latta has previously voted to repeal and replace Obamacare, including voting for the American Health Care Act earlier this year.
