ALTOONA, Pa. - The Gallaudet University men's swimming program got back into the pool here Friday night and lost a non-conference meet at Penn St.-Altoona, 151-91, in the Adler Natatorium.
Penn St.-Altoona (6-2) won its third straight meet and celebrated Senior Night. Gallaudet (2-7) won four of the 14 events.
Junior Ben Sealts (Ottawa, Ohio) had three first-place finishes as he began the evening with a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.85. Sealts then coasted to a win in the 200-yard backstroke as he touched the wall in 2:03.13. Sealts completed his individual event slate in the 200-yard IM as he crushed the competition with a time of 2:06.86, over 15 seconds ahead of the second-place swimmer from Penn St.-Altoona.
Freshman Solomon Worthey (San Diego, Calif.) shaved 28 seconds off his personal best time in the 200-yard butterfly to win with a time of 3:16.52.
Sealts and Worhey joined junior Rett Jala (McAllen, Texas) and sophomore Barry McGrain III (Hemlock, N.Y.) in the 200-yard medley relay to start the meet as the Bison squad finished second with a time of 2:08.00.
McGrain was second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (12:38.27).
Naveh Berner-Kadish (Takoma Park, Md.) set two personal best times in the meet as he took second place in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:11.07) and third in the 100-yard backstroke (1:18.60).

Gallaudet will next host North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) foe SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. in the Field House pool on Senior Day.
