Deutsche Börse's cash markets generated a turnover of €143 billion in July (previous year: €147.1 billion).
€115.7 billion were attributable to Xetra (previous year: €118.4 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €5.3 billion (previous year: €5.1 billion). Trading volumes on Börse Frankfurt were €3.8 billion (previous year: €4.9 billion) and on Tradegate Exchange €23.5 billion (previous year: €23.7 billion).
By type of asset class, equities accounted for €119.7 billion in the entire cash market. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €21.2 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.4 billion, in certificates €1.4 billion and in funds €0.2 billion.
The DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in July was SAP SE with €5.6 billion. Zalando SE led the MDAX with €1.4 billion, while Flatex Degiro AG led the SDAX index with €217 million. In the ETF segment, the iShares Core DAX UCITS ETF generated the largest volume with €741 million.
