Davis 43-6 Repair December 7, 2019, Update
The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission is continuing work repairing the Davis 43-6 plugged and abandoned well. A map showing the location can be viewed here. In the process of repairing the well, COGCC has drilled to a depth of 2,997 feet. The process has been delayed a couple of times due to weather. The well is being repaired by recementing and replugging at various depths. Today's plug was at a depth of 1,000 feet, as they work their way back up. It is anticipated by COGCC that the repair of the well be completed by the end of next week. A newsflash on the work can be viewed here.
