When asked about Roy's comments on Fox News yesterday, Beth Van Duyne responded that she fully plans to participate in the Republican Party's obstructionist agenda: 'Obviously, we're going to push back […] And we're gonna continue doing that.'

Chip Roy (TX-21) said the quiet part out loud when he was caught on video this week vowing to vote 'no' on all legislation this Congress, saying, 'Thank you Lord - 18 more months of chaos and the inability to get stuff done.' And Beth Van Duyne seems ready to fall into line. Her defining vote as congresswoman was to oppose helping small businesses, veterans, and working families when she voted against the American Rescue Plan. Beth even went so far in this interview as to suggest the urgently-needed pandemic relief was a 'devastating' policy.

The last thing Texans need coming out of a crisis is a politician like Beth Van Duyne whose main goal in Congress is obstruction and gridlock - not helping working families.
