The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Her Excellency Retno L.P. Marsudi on the occasion of it's 77th Independence Day.

Minister's message reads as follows:

" It is my pleasure to extend warm felicitations and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of the Republic of Indonesia on the joyous occasion of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

I am confident that the historical ties and enduring friendship that exist between our countries will be further strengthened in the years to come.

Let me also convey my best wishes for Your Excellency's good health and well-being, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity for the friendly people of the Republic of Indonesia. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration."
