Izzy Martins Appointed to New York Fed’s Second District Advisory Council

NEW YORK-The Federal Reserve Bank of New York today announced the appointment of Izzy Martins to the New York Fed's Second District Advisory Council, effective immediately.

The Second District Advisory Council, which is comprised of senior business leaders, generally meets three times a year to provide the New York Fed President and New York Fed leadership with high-level insights about business and economic conditions in the Second District. Members of the Council serve three-year terms. The next meeting of the Council is scheduled for May 16, 2024.

Martins has been executive vice president and chief financial officer of Avis Budget Group, based in Parsippany, N.J., since January 2024. Martins joined Avis Budget's predecessor company, Cendant Corporation, in 2004. She has served in roles including executive vice president for the Americas, chief financial officer for the Americas, and chief accounting officer. Prior to joining the company, she worked at Deloitte & Touche for seven years. Martins graduated from Seton Hall University, where she earned both an undergraduate degree in accounting and a law degree.
