Heading back to school? Be wise, immunize

As students go back to school, make sure they are up to date on their immunizations.

With continuing support from the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County Public Health is offering back to school vaccination clinics to the public this month. Standard immunizations will be available to children up to age 18 at a low cost.

Back to school vaccinations will be offered 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ridgmar Mall (food court entrance), 1888 Green Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth. The clinic will be open Aug. 15-27.

These locations will operate at the same hours with the exception of Mondays, which will open at noon:

Aug. 15-20, First United Methodist Church of Mansfield, 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive, Mansfield.

Aug. 22-27, Rising Star Baptist Church, 4216 Ave. M, Fort Worth.

COVID-19 vaccines will be available for children and anyone in need of the vaccine.
