R. J. Corman Railroad Switching, LLC has announced the opening of its newest location in Nashville, Tennessee on January 6, 2018. The initial three-year contract is with Total Distribution Services Inc. (TDSI), a CSX Corporation subsidiary which provides a network of automobile distribution facilities, storage locations and facilities.
This will be the 20th operating site for R. J. Corman Railroad Switching which has continued to build from its reputation for excellence since the company began in 2001. The opening of the new location follows the trend of growth and success it has seen in recent years. The company has been particularly effective in serving the automotive industry through the efficient work performed for companies such as Toyota at its plants in Tupelo, MS and Georgetown, KY. At this location, R. J. Corman Railroad Switching will primarily be responsible for the unloading of vehicles from train cars to stage them for distribution.
