VITEC returned to big events with NAB, ISE and many others, stronger than ever, to Engage, Empower and Evolve. Most recently, at InfoComm, in Las Vegas, we showcased a host of new additions and enhancements to our digital signage platforms. VITEC now offers a broader range of solutions, with the combined teams working together to deliver an enhanced portfolio suited to even more market applications.
"This is our first InfoComm show in which the VITEC and former Exterity teams are all working together as 'one VITEC', and we're all looking forward to connecting with the industry in Las Vegas," said Mark D'Addio, Senior Vice President of Sales, VITEC Inc. "We have lots to catch up on with our North American partners, and we're excited to discuss the host of enhancements and innovations that we've made across our versatile range. We also hope to continue the positive momentum surrounding the industry, with in-person events now once again enabling invaluable face-to-face dialogue between ourselves, our partners and the wider pro AV community. It's great to be back at InfoComm."
At ISE, in Barcelona last month, VITEC made a strong showing with enhanced IPTV & digital signage, VITEC offered a broader range of world-class IPTV solutions, with the combined teams working together to provide an even stronger portfolio to a wider set of markets and customers.
Bryan Reksten talks with Ashley of InBroadcast at NAB about our recent Emmy Award win for VITEC's comprehensive solution for management and distribution of live and on-demand IPTV content is used in broadcast centers, news & media companies, and local TV stations worldwide. It provides network-efficient, real-time distribution of in-house feeds, satellite, and cable TV content on private and public networks, and how it revolutionizes the way broadcasters work in their production rooms and their workflows. Building on our IPTV platform, recent developments have addressed trends in the broadcast industry distributing video to different places remote and contribution with TV and video for enterprise environment pushing that out to the people in remote areas.
Broadcast sector's not the only area in which we're seeing innovative applications of IPTV to engage with other audiences, from entertainment and stadiums where you're looking at the game and what the action going on in the game. Essentially, we're providing an IPTV platform that's very flexible and scalable. It can be used in many, many different environments.
For IP video distribution in news and media facilities, the Award Committee looked at examples of some of VITEC's key users of our solution. They learned how our middleware technology started as a basic single channel browser player for desktops, which we incepted back in 2006, and was quickly upgraded to a multi-channel browser player for Windows and Mac with set-top boxes and central management in 2007. The EZ TV platform has continued to evolve to a complete solution of user and content management, to any screen (Desktop, TV, Mobile, Video Wall), for local and remote users.
In the context of the IPTV Distribution Solution, VITEC's EZ TV Platform has always been the gold standard, the ultimate solution and the most deployed and used technology by news and media companies. I am confident we will be able to maintain our leadership position for years to come.
