ENKA with its consortium partner Siemens, within the framework of the Nizhnekamsk 495 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Thermal Power Plant project in Tatarstan, the Russian Federation, made 92% progress for the overall construction works as of April 7th 2021. Procurement and design works were almost completed. 2 gas turbines, 1 steam turbine, 3 generators, 3 step up transformers, 2 HRSGs, wet type natural draft cooling tower (88 mt high), 2 natural gas compressors, 2 syngas compressors and all BOP equipment erection was completed as well. Landscaping and road works are currently ongoing. Back Feed Energization from reserve auxiliary transformer was achieved as a major project accomplishment. Start-up and commissioning works are continuing intensively to achieve next major milestone of project, the first fire.
