Grupa Azoty has signed an agreement whereunder it has been become Strategic Partner and Patron of the Paderewski Centre. During the year-long parthership Grupa Azoty will also be Patron of the Centre's Concert Hall. Other promotional and advertising activities will include displaying the Group's logo during concerts, conferences and other events.

Established 30 years ago, the Paderewski Centre in Kąśna Dolna is a place devoted to the memory of Ignacy Jan Paderewski and an institution of culture in the Tarnów County, since 2017 co-run by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The Centre was established on the foundations laid by the Tarnów Music Society founded in 1876. An important part of the institution's activities are educational events, such as instrumental and vocal workshops, patriotic lessons and museum classes. The Paderewski Centre has also been promoting young talent for years.

'Culture is one of the six pillars of our corporate social responsibility activities. For years we have engaged in initiatives supporting institutions that promote culture - in this case classical music and cultural education - particularly the knowledge of Ignacy Paderewski, an outstanding Polish pianist, composer, statesman and one of the fathers of Polish independence. I am confident that, as in previous years, our partnership will contribute to the popularisation of cultural events in our region,' said Tomasz Hinc, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A.

The Paderewski Centre hosts cultural events that have long been a fixture in the calendar of music events in Poland. The premier event series include the Bravo Maestro Chamber Music Festival launched in 1996, the Talent Week Festival held since 1982 and a relatively new, but already very popular patriotic event - the Festival Viva Polonia! To Comfort Hearts.

We are delighted and proud that Grupa Azoty has become a patron of the Paderewski Centre in Kąśna Dolna under a new sponsorship agreement. We are all the more pleased because our partnership dates back to the beginnings of our institution in the 1990s when Zakłady Azotowe in Tarnów provided financial support to such projects as the prestigious Bravo Maestro Chamber Music Festival, which is still held today. Being able to refer to Grupa Azoty as Strategic Partner of the Paderewski Centre and Patron of our Concert Hall is an honour and privilege to us, but also a responsibility. Certainly, it will positively contribute to our image,' said Łukasz Gaj, Director of the Paderewski Centre in Kąśna Dolna.
