DLTx Expanding into the Pocket Network Protocol
DLTX announces expansion into the Pocket Network (POKT) through Relay Partners LLC, a dedicated SPV, which has initially raised USD 5m. The company aims to raise an additional USD 5-10m to complete its initial expansion into POKT in the near future.
Pocket Network is an infrastructure middleware protocol which facilitates decentralized multichain blockchain access to developer applications in Web3, and is the second protocol DLTx pursues after the company initiated its Filecoin project in the summer of 2021. (https://www.pokt.network/)
As traffic on major blockchain networks increases, the number of full-nodes in these networks decreases, and POKT helps achieve sustainable decentralization of public blockchain infrastructure & full node incentivization.
Through Relay Partners LLC, a dedicated SPV for Pocket, DLTx has initially raised USD 5m with an aim to extend this with an additional USD 5-10m to activate thousands of Pocket nodes running Pocket Relays for multiple chains/protocols. Funds will be used for hardware and OpEx, and the project will be operational by the end of Q2.
DLTx will also further explore Staking-as-a-Service for POKT holders and additional business models as the business unit expands.
