Creating space for women in the film industry is critical to ensuring that the stories on screen reflect the world we live in - of which, women make up half of the population. Adobe is committed to leading the way in empowering creators of all backgrounds with access to the tools, skills, and platforms they need to express themselves, reach their full potential, and to share their unique and diverse perspectives with the world.
We're proud to be teaming up with the creative minds behind Luck, the first full-length animated feature film from Apple Original Films by Skydance Animation, to celebrate and be inspired by the female creators behind the film.
Our collaboration is aimed at highlighting and amplifying the voices of the women behind the scenes, while inspiring and engaging with the next generation of female artists.

We're excited to share a three-part video series that shines a light on four talented women who brought Luck to life, including director, Peggy Holmes, visual development artist, Christine Kim, story artist, Clarisse Chua and director of Animation, Yuriko Senoo.
From their individual journeys as creators, to the importance of female representation in the film industry, each of the women also emphasize how they've overcome barriers and created their own luck.

'Find Your Voice' Mentorship Program'
We're also excited to be partnering with Skydance to offer a new mentorship program, 'Find Your Voice'. Launching in the Fall, the program will give five emerging female creators the opportunity to learn first-hand from a female mentor and Luck creator to help develop and further their careers in animation and character design. Mentors will include Peggy Holmes, Yuriko Senoo and CFX Supervisor for Luck, Sarah Macdonald and topics will cover career advice and guidance, portfolio reviews and insights into their own journeys.
