As part of an effort to reduce the City's carbon footprint, Iowa City Transit has added four new electric buses that were funded through federal and state grants, and with MidAmerican Energy's partnership.

Local artists can apply for up to $3,000 in matching funds for a public art project, which could be visual, audio, or performance-based art.
