Man remanded in custody following stabbing in Romford

A man has been remanded in custody following an incident in which a man was found with stab injuries in Romford on Tuesday, 20 November.

[A] Charlie Khan, 19 (16.12.98) of Granton Avenue, Upminster, was charged on Wednesday, 21 November with GBH and possession of a knife.

He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 22 November and was remanded to appear Snaresbrook Crown Court on Wednesday, 19 December.

A second man [B] Harry Goodwin, of Aspen Grove, Upminster was charged on the same date with assault causing actual bodily harm.

He too appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on 22 November where he was issued with fines and costs totalling £280 and released.

+ The victim in this incident, also a 19-year-old man, was taken to hospital after being found with stab injuries that
were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing. He was subsequently discharged.
