Otar Shamugia hosted the Chief of the Party at 'USAID Resilient Communities Program', the International Organization 'Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture' (CNFA)

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Mr. Otar Shamugia met with Mrs. Dina Karic, the Chief of the Party at "USAID Resilient Communities Program" of the International Organization "Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture" (CNFA).

The effective implementation of the new program to ensure agricultural development across the country was emphasized by the Minister , who also spoke extensively about the successful cooperation between Georgia and the USA.

Minister provided Mrs. Karic with information about agricultural development programs. The importance of donor organizations' support was also underlined by Mr. Shamugia during the meeting.
As stated by Mrs. Karic, CNFA is happy with the fruitful cooperation with Georgia, therefore, within the framework of the new project, CNFA continues promoting sustainable development of the rural areas.

It should be mentioned, that the USAID Resilient Communities Program" aims to support rural development in the selected municipalities and increase the economic and social capabilities of the rural population.

The First Deputy Minister Mr. George Khanishvili attended the meeting held at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
