Theater artists from Tajikistan arrive in Fergana

Luhtak Tajik State Puppet Theater has arrived in Fergana region on tour.

Artists from the neighboring country were solemnly welcomed at the Andarkhan border post in Fergana region's Beshariq district. The troupe of the theater, which arrived in Uzbekistan on tour at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, will visit Fergana, Kokand, Margilan, Rishtan and Sokh districts on April 4-15, where it will present the play by Hotam Salimov "The Mischievous Princess".

The play will be performed in Russian and Tajik. Luhtak Tajik State Puppet Theater, founded in 1985, has staged more than 50 plays and won first prizes at several international competitions and festivals.

In turn, Fergana Regional Puppet Theater visited Tajikistan on March 11-20 this year, where it showed the play "Musical Teahouse".
