VOTED NO, TOOK THE DOUGH: Mariannette Miller-Meeks Visits Lock And Dam Being Repaired With Funds She Voted Against

When Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks had the chance to vote for critical infrastructure investments in Iowa that she repeatedly claimed to support, she fell in line with Washington party bosses and opposed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal.

Now, Miller-Meeks is joining her Republican cronies to tout the very investments she voted against.

This week, Miller-Meeks visited a lock and dam in Davenport to inspect the "extremely important" maintenance and repair project and discuss how critical these waterways are for Iowa's agricultural economy. But she failed to mention that she proudly opposed the critical infrastructure investments benefiting farmers, small businesses, and communities throughout her district.

DCCC Spokeswoman Elena Kuhn
"Mariannette Miller-Meeks had the chance to support critical infrastructure investments in Iowa, but instead she turned her back on her constituents and sided with her Washington party bosses. Iowans deserve better than a Congresswoman who hypocritically takes credit for infrastructure investments she voted against."
