Atlanta CPD Appointed; Takes Office in August

GPDC is proud to announce that Mr. Maurice Kenner has been selected to serve as the Circuit Public Defender for the Atlanta Judicial Circuit.

Mr. Kenner has been with the agency since 2010, when he joined the Atlanta Circuit Office as an APD. He was responsible for establishing and launching the Stone Mountain Circuit Conflict Defender Office in his role as Circuit Conflict Defender and later joined the Central Office in 2020 as GPDC's Deputy Director for State Level Services. Before his tenure as a PD, he maintained a private practice and served as the Solicitor General for the City of Decatur's Municipal Court.
