Over the past six months, all League City departments have been working with the City's Budget Department and City Manager to create a proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2023, which starts October 1, 2022.
City Council will review the proposed FY 2023 Operating and Capital Budget in series of workshops throughout the month of July. Members of the public are invited to review the proposed budgetand share their feedback at the work sessions. Scroll down for the dates, times, and budget items to be discussed at each session. Comments and feedback regarding the proposed FY 2023 budget can also be sent directly to the City Council. After the workshops, there is a public hearing on August 9 where members of the public can also offer comments and input. Changes can be made to the budget if Council requests them. Council will then vote to approve the budget ordinance on August 23, with a second and final reading scheduled for August 13.
