The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, from Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 July 2022, will successively visit Cyprus and Kastelorizo island, after Chania where he was in the context of the Bilateral Joint Greek-US Exercise "POSEIDON'S RAGE 22".

In particular, the programme of the Deputy Minister's of National Defence visits, attendance and participation is the following:

From today, 19 July, accompanied by the Chief/HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros, he will be in Cyprus, representing the Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos to the commemorative events in memory and in honour of the Fallen and Missing Officers and Soldiers during the Turkish Invasion in 1974, which will take place on 19 (in the afternoon) and 20 July 2022. In the context of his visit, the
Deputy Minister of National Defence will meet with the Cypriot Minister of Finance Mr. Konstantinos Petrides, and the Ambassador of Greece to Cyprus Mr. Ioannis Papameletiou. On Thursday 21 and Friday
22 July, he will visit Kastelorizo, where he will participate as speaker to the conference organised by the World Hellenic Inter-parliamentary Association (WHIA) on "The Law of the Sea" (21 July), and visit Army and Navy Units (21 & 22 July) in the island. Moreover, he will meet with delegates of the Regional and Local Government, as well as bodies of the island.
