Andrews Avenue Gravity Sewer Main Repair in Tarpon River and Downtown Fort Lauderdale

The City of Fort Lauderdale and Southern Underground Industries will be removing and repairing 20 linear feet of 10-inch gravity sewer main on S Andrews Avenue south of SW/SE 6 Street.

Construction will begin on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, and is expected to be completed on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Work will take place Tuesday and Wednesday between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Traffic Impacts

• One lane in each direction of S Andrews Avenue will be closed between SW/SE 5 Street and SW/SE 7 Street. One lane in each direction will remain open.
• Left turns from northbound S Andrews Avenue to SW 6 Street will not be permitted.
