WLWT TV: CVG giving away free flights, travel vouchers all year in honor of 75th anniversary

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is celebrating 75 years of commercial flight and, to celebrate, the airport is announcing a yearlong sweepstakes.
Jan. 10 marks CVG's 75th anniversary. On Jan. 10, 1947, the first flight landed at CVG, which was an American Airlines flight from Cleveland.
ollowing that monumental flight landing, the airport scheduled around 24 passenger flights per day. Since then, Cincinnati's airport has grown and expanded with both passenger and cargo activity, CVG officials said.
To celebrate the airport's 75th anniversary, CVG officials want to make people's travel dreams come true. The airport is hosting a Travel Dream Sweepstakes all year long.
One lucky winner will be drawn each month. They will receive at minimum a $500 travel voucher for a flight from CVG. The first lucky winner will receive two roundtrip tickets from American Airlines.
The sweepstakes will run from Jan. 10 through Dec. 31.
