  • A two percent (2%) merit pool

Who qualifies?

  • Permanent benefit-eligible faculty and professional staff employed as of March 4, 2024.
  • Permanent benefit-eligible classified staff employed as of April 14, 2024 (those on entrance probation will be eligible after the completion of their probation).
  • To be eligible for the merit pool, employees must have a positive performance evaluation and have completed statewide cybersecurity and respectful workplace trainings.

Next steps

The university recently submitted a CEC plan for Boise State employees to the Division of Human Resources and the Division of Financial Management, following their guidance. Boise State leaders are currently awaiting their review.

Employees will be updated in campus news and emails as plans are finalized. In the meantime, visit the change in employee compensation web page for more information.
