The Baldwin County HBA in Fairhope, Ala., recently donated a truckload of gifts and presented a $4,100 check to CARE House. The donations were received at its Showcase Home which was built by Frostholm Construction and featured in the BCHBA 2017 Parade of Homes.
Each year, BCHBA chooses a local charity as the recipient of the donations made by the public when viewing its Showcase Home.
CARE House is a child advocacy center that provides services and resources for child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse.
'My heart is overjoyed with the love and generosity that BCHBA members have shown our children this Christmas,' said CARE House Executive Director Niki Whitaker.
'For nearly 20 years now they have done a 'tool tree' with some of our children's wish lists for Christmas,' she said. 'The BCHBA members go above and beyond to assure our children have a fabulous Christmas! They do so much at Christmas and throughout the year to help this agency, and we are so grateful for the partnership that we have.'
