Chili Woman Arrested in Groveland for Leandra’s Law DWI

On 08/11/2017 at around 10:52 p.m., State Police from SP Geneseo stopped a Kia Sorrento for driving 85 miles per hour in a 65 miles per hour zone on I-390 southbound, town of Groveland. The driver was identified as Renee M. Cropo, age 46, from the town of Chili. The vehicle was also occupied by a 14 year old child. Further investigation revealed that Cropo was intoxicated. She submitted to a breath test with a result of .10 BAC. Cropo was charged with felony Aggravated DWI, due to a child being in the vehicle, and speeding. She was arraigned before the Groveland Town Court and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond. Cropo is scheduled to appear before the Groveland Town Court again on 09/06/2017 at 6:00 p.m.
