Lane closures scheduled on US Hwy 180 for Schultz Creek Drainage Improvements

North bound and south bound traffic on US HWY 180 will be restricted to one lane between mile post 217 and 218 with the use of traffic control flaggers from Monday, May 13 to Wednesday, May 15 to accommodate utility relocations for the Schultz Creek Drainage Improvements. Work hours on Monday, May 13 will be from 4 to 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Work hours on Tuesday, May 14 will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and work hours on Wednesday, May 15 will be from 5 to 7 a.m. Travelers in the area should expect delays.

The completion of the Schultz Creek Drainage Improvements will alleviate both the post-fire flood threat from the Pipeline Fire (2022) as well as substantially reduce, or remove, the existing FEMA special flood hazard area for the nearby neighborhood.
