Three projects affecting city roads set to begin Monday, April 29

KILLEEN, Texas (April 25, 2024) - The City of Killeen's Department of Public Works will have three projects affecting city roads starting Monday, April 29.

1. The water & sewer division will close Westcliff Road from Mark Drive to Schwald Drive Monday, April 29 starting from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This closure is for the installation of a water main. The road will be open to local traffic only.

2. The engineering division will close the east bound lane of Stagecoach Road from Onion Road to Cunningham Road from Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

This closure is for work on a water main. Traffic will be guided around the work area.

3. The engineering division will close the south bound lane of Featherline Road from Tuesday, April 30 through Thursday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

This closure is for the installation of a manhole. Flaggers will be on site to guide traffic around the work area.

It is very important that all vehicles obey the traffic control devices at each location for the safety of the citizens and employees. Drivers can expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. All schedules are based on weather and may be changed.
