Star 102 Hosts Virtual Broadcast to support patients at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's

The 19^th Annual Rainbow Radiothon, presented by Petitti Garden Centers, is Friday, Dec. 3

CLEVELAND - Star 102 DJs Jen Toohey and Tim Richards will join University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital (UH Rainbow) patients, faculty and staff virtually for the 19^th annual Rainbow Radiothon on Friday, Dec. 3.

Pandemic or not, the annual Rainbow Radiothon will go on, simply because kids can't wait for a new normal. Tune in to Cleveland's Star 102 FM in the car or online from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, as Jen and Tim talk with remarkable patients and caregivers. Each year, Rainbow Radiothon takes listeners to the rarely seen side of pediatric medicine. Follow along on social media throughout the day to hear miracle stories of survival and loss, of heartbreak and hope, and learn about the lifesaving care at UH Rainbow. All proceeds benefit programs and services provided by UH Rainbow Babies & Children's - programs not traditionally covered by medical insurance, such as the in-hospital accredited tutor program and art and music therapy. Rainbow Radiothon also helps to fund innovative research, recruitment and retention of leading physicians and fellows. Since its inception, Radiothon has raised more than $4.7 million for UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
