Deputies Make Announcements

Sofia Hovsepyan: Yesterday I met with the parents of 67 deceased and 6 missing soldiers, and they gave a letter and asked her to read. They demand to move the sued criminal case from the RA Investigative Committee to the National Security Service. I ask the NA deputies and the authorized persons to be consistent on this case.

Tatevik Hayrapetyan: Yesterday, at the meeting of the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons there was rather stormy discussion on the theme of prisoners of war. The Azerbaijani side made all efforts to fail the discussion, but due to our united and persistent efforts the Committee Chairperson made a statement, where it was noted that Azerbaijan had to fulfill the obligation assumed by tripartite statement of 9 November 2020.

Taguhi Tovmasyan: We have necessity to take legal steps. We shall create counterbalance and answer to Ilham Aliyev in the same style. It is not difficult to present evidence that during the war Azerbaijan committed war crimes and carried out atrocities.

Arman Babajanyan: Lately, the deputy of the ruling faction Andranik Kocharyan apologized for electing wrong judges of the Constitutional Court. I naively thought that on behalf of the ruling faction such a statement will be, and in the ruling faction there will be found reasonable deputies who will apologize our society for stubbornly defending Khundkaryan-Shatiryan-Vagharshyan triple here.

Hripsime Grigoryan: Today, from this tribune they talked about the so called park opened in Baku yesterday in Baku which is nothing but Armenophobia and squeak exhibition of hatred. The international responses did not delay, and the direct propaganda of continuing hatred towards Armenians by aggressor Azerbaijan is evident.

Andranik Kocharyan: From yesterday the photos of the so called park opened in Baku and presenting the Armenian war trophies are actively spread. After the first Artsakh war the park of shehids opened in Baku, where shehids were buried. Aliyev at state level sponsors the Armenophobia and openly campaigns animosity which definitely is strictly condemned by us and by international community.

Taron Simonyan: The illiteracy is a greatest sin, and giving power to illiteracy is a greatest evil. The national dignity cannot be laid down on the altar.

Srbuhi Grigoryan:Your ideas of living together with the Azerbaijanis and your thoughts to extend a friendly hand to Turkey is more than surprising for me.

Anna Kostanyan: I would like to speak about the crisis situation of Yerevan State University (YSU). 11 members of YSU Board of Trustees applied for resignation letter without substantiation. It speaks about the fact that the autonomy of the higher educational institutions is a very sad situation.

Mikayel Melkumyan: The present tyrant of Azerbaijan, Heydar's Ilham talked nonsense during yesterday's discussion with the heading New Glance to South Caucasus, stating that he has no territorial demand towards Armenia. I would like to believe that after this conflict not a full stop, but a comma is put. We shall live with a new agenda.

Hamazasp Danielyan: The announcement made a few days ago is about a resolution adopted by the National Council of the Republic of Slovakia which is dedicated to Nagorno Karabakh. That resolution, which has passed unanimously, the Parliament of Slovakia strictly condemns the civilians' murders, the destruction of the civil buildings and infrastructures, the monuments of cultural and religious heritage.

Gevorg Papoyan: While speaking about problems we shall certainly bring forth substantiated facts. Moreover, we shall evade spreading such mood which can cause panic among our people.

Vahe Enfiajyan: The war and the post-war period has brought a number of problems. There is a well-known truth: if you don't want to have war, the state shall be strong. And the state, first of all, is wrong with its economy and the dynamics of economic indices.

Arman Abovyan: 10 April 1992, Maragha. The Azerbaijani troops entered into the village, 45 Armenians were severely beheaded, killed, burned, axed, and more than 100 people became hostages. In 1915, 1.5mln Armenians were massacred. 1988: Sumgait-Baku. We get angry, annoyed. When we don't perceive them as our enemies, from that moment war will begin.

Lena Nazaryan: Today, much was spoken about the so called park opened in Baku, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued its official attitude. I am convinced that our state, children and their generation will live long and happier in this region, than Aliyev and his fascist, xenophobic and murderous system will try to survive.
