CMVM today discloses one administrative infraction decision

Today, the CMVM published one decision regarding an administrative infraction proceeding which is disclosed anonymously.

The CMVM's decision is based on a proceeding for breaching the auditors' duties to act, wherein the defendant, as an auditor providing services to financial intermediaries, breached the duty to send the CMVM, the report on the procedures and measures adopted by the financial intermediaries audited by it, in order to safeguard customer assets. In this proceeding, a warning was issued.

The CMVM also disclosed three rulings of the Court of Competition, Regulation and Supervision and a Summary Decision of the Lisbon Court of Appeal on the administrative infraction proceedings nos. 7/2017, 49/2015 and 13/2016 filed by the CMVM.
