Help Needed: Village Officials Vacancies

Village Trustee-

There is an unexpired term open for Village Trustee-a vacancy for an appointed replacement requiring a one-year commitment before the choice of running for election in 2023. Village Trustees meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 7PM and are responsible for Village policy and procedure and overseeing Village business.

Planning Commission-

There is an opening on our Village Planning Commission/Zoning Board of appeals. This is an appointed position not requiring election. The PC/ZBA hears variance requests, holds public hearings for input from residents, and advises the Village Board accordingly. The Planning Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7PM

If you are interested in serving your community as Village Trustee or Planning Commission member, please send a letter of intent and short resume to the Village Hall.Candidates will be reviewed and possible appointments made by the July 20th Village Board meeting.
